Nintendo's Wii video game system (pronounced "we") is designed to attract people, regardless of their age or video game experience, to sit down and play together--whether they're in the same room or on different sides of the globe.
The two Wii features Nintendo thinks will create new levels of gaming community are built-in Wi-Fi access, supported by a new online gaming service, and Wii's intuitive, wireless, motion-sensitive game controller.

Wii is by far the best console because you have motion sensors if u use a X-box 360 controller or a ps3 one do you get to bite the pin of a grenade NO!
do you get fit with sitting on the sofa most of the day NO!
And i can prove this when i was playing resi evil 4 i was getting into the feel of actully shooting the monsters in mario kart wii i got the feel of actully racing in wii sports i got tried from playing the boxing and got my granparents to play golf without leaving the house in wario ware me and my cousions were having a right lol at how silly we looked and you get the feel of adventure in LOZ twilight princess (and improve your shooting skills in links crossbow training) but ok nintendo did mabe break a window or 2 with the thin wriststrap wire or rob the bank with the price of wii fit (which does get u fit by the way)you can argue with me if you want but if a war game that comes out for the other two console and comes out for the wii it will be perfect for the wii zapper

Of course Wii is the best console ever!! My brother and I love our Wii. I especially like the games Super Mario Galaxy, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, and (of course) The Legnend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I can't wait for MarioKart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl to come out soon! Come to my website, it's all about Wii, at www.freewebs.com/wiidestiny today!

The Wii is the best! I own an xbox 360 which now collects dust. The wii has me and my wife playing games together and enjoying ourselves TOGETHER. No other console can say that they have couples, families playing games together.

I have to disagree with headlight - the games that have taken the time and effort to make good use of the controls are very good, especially the newer ones. Games like Eleedees/Eleebits and EA Playground are excellent fun to play with the Wiimotes.
It is fair to say that games ported to the Wii from other consoles are not always so good...

I'm not sure the Nintendo Wii is the best console ever, however, your lens is the best Wii lens ever! Keep up the good work Fluff! :o)

I don't think there's one clear "best" console. It's all about the games. In my opinion the Wii has some of the best games out there, but the Xbox360 has some equally good games. I'm not sure about the PS3 as I haven't had enough time to play it yet.

I would say that Nintendo itself has been responsible for coming out with the best consoles, but I don't believe the Wii stands out as the clear winner. It is in my humble opinion that the systems that paved the way for our current generation should be regarded as the best systems. The first NES was wonderful, however I believe that the SNES was the best system ever released. It was the beginning of some of the most popular franchises ever brought to our home televisions, and is the heritage of our current top games. Zelda, Super Mario, Metroid, Final Fantasies, Etc. These games, bolstered by NES and SNES, are as popular as they are today because of their roots.

the controls are extremely unreliable. the games that mostly don't use motion sensitivity are the better ones on the platform. Which says a lot..
